Tanner Kneese is a native of the Texas Hill Country and 6th generation Texan. Growing up in the hill country, he gained tremendous respect for wildlife and the outdoors, spending his free time riding horses and hunting. These hobbies led him to the sports of Polo and Polocrosse which took him around the world to compete. He has also guided hunters for native and exotic game on some of the largest historic ranches in Texas. Tanner received his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Texas Tech University and was a member of the men’s varsity Polo team who won the national championship in 2006. After college, he worked in the Geographic Information Systems department at the Texas General Land Office (TGLO) in Austin. In 2010, he left the TGLO to work on BP's Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Response providing GIS support for decision makers in the Incident Command Center. He spent the next six year traveling the world providing emergency response consulting services for all major oil and gas companies. While he enjoyed this work, Tanner ultimately wanted to return home to the land he loves. Whether you are looking for the perfect property you can enjoy for years to come, or selling land you've cherished, he has a wealth of knowledge and a professional perspective to help you navigate Texas ranch real estate.
