In addition to his work in real estate, Tanner serves as a Director of the Texas Wildlife Association, promoting conservation and landowner interests across the state. He enjoys polo, polocrosse, hunting, and fishing, reflecting a lifelong passion for the outdoors.
Tanner holds a degree in Agribusiness from Texas Tech University, where he competed on the men’s polo team and was a member of the 2006 national championship team. He started his professional career with the Texas General Land Office as a Geographic Information Systems analyst, where he supported a range of state programs including emergency response, energy, coastal and upland land management. He expanded to consulting for major petroleum companies and government agencies, providing GIS expertise on projects around the globe prior to his career in real estate.
